Passing Certified NSA course

Well, I took a three-day course in a computer software that my company uses, and then took a two-hour test to be "certified" as a Systems Analyst. I passed it, but I wasn't worried. Wink Been busy doing database cleanup since then. It's sometimes stressful because it takes so much time and detail, but makes me feel good.

Jake plays "Cars" on DS

Jake was playing Cars on the Nintendo DS, and he was moving the game around like a steering wheel, concentrating so hard, with his tongue sticking out... it was too cute! Greg got a quick video of it on his cell phone, and it was hilarious to watch. Jake concentrates so hard on that game, he gets lost in it. Smile

Gabe and Jake continue to argue over the video games and the Wii, and I'm starting to think that we should just take the blasted things away from them and let them grow up the way we did. Before video games became everything and TV became the main entertainment with hundreds of channels. Before personal computers and the Internet and email. Before cell phones. Sheesh... what did we do??? Wink We played with our toys, or board games, listened to the radio, read books, went outside a LOT, rode our bikes, roller skated, walked our dogs, played at our friends' houses. Seems like we always had something to do and we weren't bored much. Why does this generation feel the need to be entertained every second? I'm really beginning to think this is the wrong idea and all kids should have their TV's in their bedrooms removed, their video games and such taken away. (And the sad thing is, I have no backup from Greg. He's as bad as they are.)

While I think it's cute to watch Jake play the DS, and act like he's actually driving, I'd rather be watching him ride his bike, or play in the back yard with the dogs.
